Corghi is excited to announce the launch of their new universal wheel balancer for truck, bus, light commercial applications, the ET1450 TruckLine. Renowned the world over for innovation, quality, and precision Corghi has recently increased its focus on the heavy-duty market as the segment continues to grow quickly.
Their latest offering, the ET1450 TruckLine wheel balancer, is Ideal for mobile road service and smaller workshops and garages that need a compact, easy to use, and reliable heavy-duty balancer.
“Globally, we’re investing heavily to extend our heavy-duty range,” said Andrew Cornwell, General Manager, Corghi Australia. “Locally, we’re getting very close to launching our first Heavy Duty catalogue. The current proof is more than 150 pages, and it includes our extensive range of heavy-duty changers, balancers, aligners, and lifting equipment.”
The ET1450 TruckLine wheel balancer is available in motorised and hand-spin versions.
“It is the most compact balancer in our whole range,” Andrew commented. “And it features the most advanced programs that until now have only been available in our top-of-the-range models.”
The number of standard features are impressive and include Hidden Weight for hiding the weights behind the spokes, Imbalance Optimisation (OPT) to minimise static wheel imbalance, plus Multi-operator and Energy-saving modes.
“The ET1450 TruckLine wheel balancer also features our latest-generation measuring unit and a 40mm shaft that ensures precision and reliability,” Andrew explained.
The in-built, hand-driven wheel lifter makes light work of event the heaviest wheel and tyre combinations, without using the foot pedals a can lift wheels weighing up to 150 kg, while at the same time ensuring the wheel perfectly centred every time.
“The ET1450 TruckLine has been designed to keep your staff safe and to reduce operating costs,” Andrew described. “Using an extremely low balancing speed of 80rpm for truck assemblies and 100rpm for passenger car application, we have lowered the risks connected with rotating elements while also delivering significant energy savings.”
The SmartArm 2D internal sensor provides automatic acquisition of distance and diameter for rims up to 28” with a selection of balancing programs including DYN, STATIC, ALU, and ALUP available.
